Martial Law in Mindanao Officially Ends Today After 953 Days

The Martial Law in Mindanao officially ends today, January 1, 2020, after 953 days. The non-extension of martial law officially expired at 12 midnight on December 31, 2019.

President Duterte did not ask for an extension of Martial Law in Mindanao which was declared in May 2017, during the Marawi Siege.
