P135-Million Cagayan de Oro Ecopark Aerial Update; Opening in July 2021
Are you excited about the opening of the CDO Ecopark phase 1 in July 2021? Here’s the latest aerial update of the P135-Million Cagayan de Oro Ecopark as of June 2021, a month before the opening.
The CDO Ecopark is located at Zayas, Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. It’s the old city dumpsite to be converted into Ecopark. Groundbreaking of the Ecopark happened on July 11, 2019, with a total development cost of P135 Million.
The Ecopark in Cagayan de Oro has the following features: recreational area, forest area, a variation of trees, bamboo garden, boat dock, food court, pond, amphitheater, walkway, bike lane, jogging lane, butterfly garden, fruit garden, research facility, playground, nursery, and a parking area. When it’s done, it will be managed by the City Tourism Office. It’s expected to be fully operational by 2022.
