The project was conceptualized in 1998 and built in 2003. The main building is 94% complete as of December 2019.
It has a seating capacity of 7,700. The main building amenities include a multi-purpose hall with concession spaces, club rooms, rehearsal rooms, lobbies and comfort rooms as well as outdoor parking, guardhouse, powerhouse, and landscaping.
The 10,500-square meter main arena can host a various event such as concerts, competitions, seminars, and conventions while the function rooms can hold up to 700 guests.
Other facilities include a multi-level park building, a VIP lounge, helipad, restaurant, and a viewing deck with photoshoot area.
Cagayan de Oro International Convention Center is located in Taguanao, Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
