PH Dragon Boat Teams Ready for 2nd Kagay-an Dragon Boat Fiesta Race on August 25
18 dragon boat teams all over the Philippines already confirmed to join the 2nd Motorace Kagay-an Dragon Boat Fiesta Race on August 25, 2019 (Sunday) at the Cagayan de Oro River. More teams are expected to confirm their participation this week, including International teams who are still working on their paper works.
2nd Kagay-an Dragon Boat Fiesta Race schedule:
- August 24 (Saturday)
- Morning – Water Test / Team Practice
- Afternoon – Team Manager’s Meeting
- August 25 (Sunday) – Race Day
- 6 AM Opening Ceremonies
- 7 AM Start of Race
- 1 PM Target End of Race
- 6 PM Awarding / Closing Ceremonies at Blackout @ The Hive
Competition classes and distances:
- Standard Boat MIXED 200M
- 5 pairs Male, 5 pairs Female
- Small Boat OPEN 200M
- 5 pairs, either gender
- Small Boat WOMEN 200M
- 5 pairs, female drummer & helm
